The library

The building housing the Cineteca's library and archives has a surface area open to the public of 735 square metres. At the entrance, a welcome point offers general information and directions, close to the first bank of computers for catalogue consultation and internet navigation. Here you will also find lockers for storing personal items. The section of the library with open shelving has 60 seats. This is where the material directly accessible to the public can be consulted. On the floor above are the books and periodicals of photography and graphics, the "crime library" and the comics.

Accessing the Library

The library is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6.30 pm. Access is free. Anyone is allowed to carry out research, study and consultation, to listen to or view the documents and to participate in the cultural activities organized by the library. The periodicals and archival collections can be consulted only upon request to a librarian, while the books on the open shelves can be accessed directly.
