Located within the Cineteca’s library, the Audiovisual Section is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6.30 pm, which is also when the librarians are available to assist the public.
Consult on-site
Video cassettes and DVDs can only be viewed on site. Users must request the film they wish to watch. Viewing places and films can reserved in advance by calling: +39 051 2195307.
Book a film on-line
There is also an online booking service for videos and DVDs, which lets you search the database of available films and reserve them directly for a specific time and day. Viewing sessions last 2 hours 30 minutes, and start at 11 am, 1.30 pm and 4 pm.
Listen to the soundtracks
The film soundtracks in digital formats can be listened to at special points within the Audiovisual Section. It is recommended that you book your spot in advance, by calling +39 051 2195307 or in person at the library. The soundtracks on vinyl can be listened to only by prior appointment (tel. +39 051 2195305).
