A Convergence of Perspectives and Talents

Much more than a school, Ipotesi Cinema is a space for encounters and practical work, with a commitment different from any other traditional educational institution. Created by Ermanno Olmi, it was designed as a kind of creative melting pot. The aim is not to transmit the technical knowledge needed for future professional activities, but instead to make very diverse perspectives and talents converge around a cinematic project, opening up a common educational journey in a direct way.

From Idea to Realization

This is not group work, but rather work in a group. In other words, practical activities carried out in a collective driven by total respect for single individuals. Everything is structured around the only possible path: the real and concrete movement from an original idea towards the realization of a film. This journey is not automatically guaranteed to everyone by right, but offers itself as an opportunity to be conquered through the validity of the idea and the quality of its realization.
